1. Introduction
Healthy Mart Private Limited ("Healthy Mart", "we", "us", "our"), registered office at [insert registered office address], Karnataka, India, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and mobile applications (the "Platform"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and other applicable Indian law.
2. Information We Collect
From Customers: name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing addresses, order history, product reviews and ratings you submit, and support/chat messages you send us. When you pay for an order, our payment partner Razorpay processes your card, UPI, or net-banking details directly — we do not receive or store your full payment credentials on our own servers.
From Sellers: business name and address, GST number, FSSAI license number, PAN, bank account and IFSC details, and identity/business verification documents submitted during seller onboarding, used solely to verify sellers and pay out their earnings.
Automatically: device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, and cart/wishlist activity, collected through cookies and similar technologies to keep the Platform working (e.g. keeping items in your cart) and to improve it.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To process orders, payments, and refunds, and to route each order to the correct Seller for dispatch.
- To arrange delivery through our logistics partner (currently Shiprocket) and share tracking updates with you.
- To communicate with you about your orders, account, and customer support requests.
- To verify Sellers, pay out Seller earnings, and meet our legal and tax record-keeping obligations.
- To improve the Platform, detect fraud, and comply with applicable law or lawful requests from government authorities.
4. Who We Share Information With
We share only what each party needs to do its job:
- Sellers receive your name, delivery address, and phone number for the items they need to ship to you — never your payment details.
- Shiprocket (our logistics partner) receives your delivery address and phone number to arrange pickup and delivery.
- Razorpay (our payment partner) receives what is required to process your payment securely.
- Government or regulatory authorities, only where required by law or a valid legal request.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your information is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest, and access to Seller verification documents (PAN, Aadhaar, bank details) is restricted to authorized personnel only. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we work to continually improve our safeguards.
6. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023
As a data principal, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of your data, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations (e.g. order and tax records).
- Withdraw consent for optional processing at any time.
- Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
- Register a grievance regarding how your data is handled (see Section 8 below).
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at the contact details in Section 9.
7. Data Retention
We retain order and transaction records for as long as required under Indian tax and consumer-protection law, and account information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
8. Cookies
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember items in your cart and wishlist, and understand how the Platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.
